/Toward Semantic Translation in Network Slicing: LLM-Based Network Slice Configuration
Abstract

Due to the emergence of end-to-end services that require stringent quality-of-service under varying network conditions, customized networks must be provided for each service in a flexible manner. To achieve this goal, network slicing is acrucial technology acting as a key enabler. In the forthcoming 6G network era, there will be a number of services with diverserequirements. Accordingly, it is essential to adjust network slices while allocating optimal network resources, thereby not only preventing resource waste but also meeting these requirements. As it is defined as a complex optimization problem involving many decision variables, it requires the application of automated methods to configure the parameters. In this paper, we propose alarge language model-assisted method to automatically generatenetwork slice configurations to tackle the aforementioned issue.
