The prestigious wine selection concluded with 636 wines scoring 90 points or higher. Once again this year, seven trophies were awarded to wines that excelled in the competition categories, including still wines (white, rosé and red), Charmat method sparkling wines, traditional method sparkling wines and sweet wines. In addition, the coveted title of 'Winery of the Year – Grand Vinitaly' was awarded to Tenuta Gottardi , which also won 'Best Italian Wine – Banco BPM' trophy for its Trento Doc Extra Brut Riserva POSAD'OR 2017.
