South Mountain Aviation Completes FAA Part 145 Certification, FAA Awards Repair Station Certification

HAGERSTOWN, Md., July 1, 2026 — South Mountain Aviation, an aircraft maintenance and avionics company, has received an FAA Part 145 certification which grants the company official authorization to operate as an approved Repair Station. The new certification's application process took several months to complete, and according to the FAA, South Mountain Aviation is certified to perform highly regulated maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services on aircraft and components, and officially return them to service with airworthiness approvals.
