BIOSCIENCE INITIATE AI-DRIVEN DRUG

DEVELOPMENT COLLABORATION

This announcement is made by the board (the "Board") of directors (the "Directors") of Hanx Biopharmaceuticals (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. (the "Company" or "Hanx Biopharmaceuticals") on a voluntary basis.

Hanx Biopharmaceuticals is pleased to announce that the cooperation agreement previously signed by the Company with TwinEdge Bioscience (the "Agreement"), a cutting-edge biotechnology company based in Switzerland with a unique computational biology technology, has initiated research under this collaboration project. The two parties leverage artificial intelligence technology to conduct translational medicine research centered on HX009, Hanx Biopharmaceuticals's core bispecific antibody therapeutic candidate drug.

Pursuant to the Agreement, TwinEdge Bioscience utilizes its proprietary AI models and tools to develop personalized "Digital Twins" ("Digital Twins" or known as "Avatar") models based on a series of patient-derived xenograft (PDX) mouse models of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Preliminary results have been achieved in the establishment of these Digital Twins, laying the foundation for the next step of integrating molecular and dose-response data into the simulation mechanism. This collaboration aims to further elucidate the mechanism of action of HX009, simulate its potential clinical performance in lymphoma patients, and explore the applicability and relevance of this mechanism of action in DLBCL.

Traditional preclinical testing results may limit in-depth investigation of early drug efficacy and individual differences of subjects. This collaboration, leveraging AI Digital Twin technology, deeply explores the heterogeneity among lymphoma patient groups and biomarker-related response patterns through simulated calculations involving thousands of simulated patients. The implementation of this collaboration may refine the Company's patient screening protocols, strengthen the early translational medicine evidence for HX009, and help optimize its subsequent clinical pathway planning, thereby accelerating the pace of clinical advancement.

ABOUT HX009

HX009, the Company's core product, is an innovative bifunctional anti-PD-1/SIRPα fusion protein designed to enhance PD-1 function and create a novel next-generation PD-1 therapy. Its mechanism of action includes synergistic binding to CD8+ effector T cells within the tumor micro-environment (TIL-Teff) and dual targeting of PD-1 and CD47 receptors on these TIL-Teffs, thereby enhancing their anti-tumor immunity. The Company has recently completed a clinical proof-of-concept (POC) study for EBV positive non-Hodgkin lymphoma (including EBV positive diffuse large B-cell lymphoma) and plans to initiate a pivotal clinical trial for this indication. We look forward to this translational medicine cooperation with TwinEdge Bioscience, which can provide strong support for the subsequent advancement of advanced clinical trials of HX009 and ultimately benefit the majority of DLBCL patients.
