BETWEEN HANX BIOPHARMACEUTICALS AND

HUST ADVANCED INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH

CENTRE ON AI-DRIVEN DRUG DISCOVERY

This announcement is made by the board (the "Board") of directors (the "Directors") of Hanx Biopharmaceuticals (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. (the "Company" or "Hanx Biopharmaceuticals") on a voluntary basis.

OVERVIEW OF THE COLLABORATION

To fully leverage the strengths of industry-university-research integration and accelerate innovation in biomedical research and development, Hanx Biopharmaceuticals (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company" or "Hanx Biopharmaceuticals") has recently formally entered into the Cooperation Agreement for the Joint Establishment of the Joint Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence-Driven Drug Discovery《(「人工智能藥物研發聯合實驗室」合作共建協議》) with the Advanced Interdisciplinary Research Centre of the HUST-CityU Macau Institute of Advanced Studies.

Drawing on the AI platform of the Advanced Interdisciplinary Research Centre of HUST, as well as Hanx Biopharmaceuticals' extensive experience in innovative drug R&D and in-depth understanding of disease areas, both parties will carry out in-depth collaboration focusing on antibody discovery and molecular design, and jointly establish a new-generation paradigm for AI-driven innovative drug development.

ABOUT THE ADVANCED INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH CENTRE OF

HUST-CITYU MACAU INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED STUDIES

The Centre was jointly established by Huazhong University of Science and Technology, a national key university, and the Institute of Advanced Studies of City University of Macau. Focusing on cutting-edge interdisciplinary subjects, the Centre integrates advanced material design, high-performance computing and state-of-the-art AI algorithms. It boasts world-leading research capabilities in macromolecular dynamics simulation, bioinformatics computation and cross-disciplinary applications of multi-physics fields.

SCOPE OF COLLABORATION

The collaboration mainly covers the following two major areas:

  1. AI-Assisted Antibody Optimisation: Leveraging the multi-scale molecular dynamics simulation and deep learning models owned by the Advanced Interdisciplinary Research Centre, both parties will conduct digital screening of large-scale antibody libraries and prediction of affinity maturation. This will significantly shorten the antibody discovery cycle, enhance the target specificity and binding efficiency of candidate antibodies, and reduce the trial-and-error costs incurred by conventional

wet-lab experiments.

  1. Intelligent Molecular Design and Development: Both parties shall jointly develop and deploy advanced generative AI models for "De Novo Design" of cutting-edge molecules. Through intelligent prediction and multi-objective optimisation of molecular structures, physicochemical properties as well as ADME (absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion and toxicity) profiles, the collaboration will

accelerate the identification of drug candidate molecules with the highest potential. This collaboration will optimise the Company's antibody screening and molecular optimisation workflows, elevate research and development efficiency and success rates, substantially shorten R&D cycles and cut research and development costs, as well as accelerate the Company's progress in FIC and BIC drug discovery. Relevant research outputs will further enrich the Company's R&D pipeline, consolidate its technological edges and core competitiveness, and provide robust support for the Company's long-term development and sustainable operations.
