FDA APPROVAL OF IND FOR THE GROUP'S PRODUCT UBT48128 TABLETS

This announcement is made by The United Laboratories International Holdings Limited (the "Company") on a voluntary basis.

The board of directors (the "Board") of the Company is pleased to announce that the Investigational New Drug ("IND") applications for UBT48128 Tablets, a Class 1 new drug self-developed by The United Bio-Technology (Hengqin) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, for the indications of overweight or obesity and type 2 diabetes have been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ("FDA"), with IND numbers 182060 and 182061, respectively.

UBT48128 Tablets is a small-molecule glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist that lowers blood glucose and promotes weight loss by stimulating insulin secretion while regulating appetite and energy metabolism. Preclinical studies in multiple animal models have

demonstrated that UBT48128 significantly reduces body weight and blood glucose levels, with superior weight-loss efficacy compared to currently marketed products in the same category. This product is expected to demonstrate favorable therapeutic benefits in the treatment of overweight or obesity and type 2 diabetes.
