Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital is teaming up with Siemens Healthineers to drive innovation in advanced technology research.

Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital announced Thursday that it signed a business agreement with Siemens Healthineers on Wednesday at the hospital's conference room.

Previously, the hospital introduced Siemens Healthineers' latest PET/CT equipment, Biograph Vision Quadra, as well as the photon-counting CT, NAEOTOM Alpha. Both have been in operation since Nov. 17.

Under this agreement, the two parties are committed to driving innovation by exchanging information and providing technical consultation on the clinical application of the Biograph Vision Quadra PET/CT. They further pledge to collaborate on pioneering clinical and technical research in shared priority areas and to proactively host and support impactful academic activities, such as seminars and workshops.

“This groundbreaking agreement empowers both organizations to pioneer comprehensive research into advanced technology and clinical solutions,” said Moon Soo-ho, head of sales at Siemens Healthineers. “We are dedicated to providing steadfast support through this trusted partnership.”

Dr. Ju Woong, director of Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital, stated, “With this business agreement, we aim to drive progress in diagnostic devices by actively sharing clinical insights on state-of-the-art PET/CT technology, ultimately enhancing patient care.”
