Yuhan’s dyslipidemia drug surpasses ₩100 billion in 2025 outpatient prescription sales

According to outpatient prescription data from pharmaceutical research firm UBIST, Rosuvamibe recorded ₩102.2 billion in prescription sales in 2025. Since its launch in 2016, the drug has posted a compound growth rate of about 13 percent over the five-year period from 2021 to 2025.

Rosuvamibe is a fixed-dose combination therapy for dyslipidemia composed of ezetimibe and rosuvastatin. It is available in 10/2.5 mg, 10/5 mg, 10/10 mg, and 10/20 mg formulations.

According to Yuhan, clinical trials showed that Rosuvamibe significantly reduced the risk of statin-associated muscle symptoms and new-onset diabetes compared with high-intensity rosuvastatin monotherapy in older adults aged 70 and above with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD), while delivering comparable LDL cholesterol–lowering efficacy.

“Rosuvamibe is the first in-house developed combination drug to surpass ₩100 billion in annual outpatient prescription sales,” a Yuhan official said. “Through continuous research and development, we will continue to support patients with dyslipidemia.”
