Vaxcellbio inks Asia pet health pact with Taiwan’s Reber Genetics

Vaxcellbio said Wednesday that it had signed a master partnership agreement, a broad framework that sets the terms for future technology transfer, supply and export deals, with Reber Genetics, a Taiwanese developer and distributor of animal vaccines, to expand its pet healthcare business in Asia.

Under the agreement, the two companies will pursue regulatory approvals and commercialization in Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Vaxcellbio will provide its technologies and product pipeline, while Reber Genetics will handle local approvals, distribution and commercialization.

Vaxcellbio said the initial products covered by the partnership include Vaxleukin-15 Inj., its immunotherapy product for companion dogs, as well as Goldmmune, an immune support supplement, and Vaxsure, an immune-based healthcare product.

The company said the deal would help open overseas markets for its pet healthcare pipeline, drawing on Reber Genetics’ regulatory and commercial network in Asia.

Reber Genetics develops genetic- and immune-based animal healthcare products and has experience in regulatory approvals and distribution in the region, according to Vaxcellbio.
