Injectable brace for horses could speed up healing time

Equinext and Centaur Animal Health entered an exclusive distribution agreement on June 27 for Equinext's Novobrace product, an injectable bioadhesive that can treat horses' injured tendons and ligaments. The therapeutic effects of the injectable are obtained within half an hour of application if it takes, making the treatment a serious cost cutter as recovery time is dramatically reduced. Equinext estimates that about 1.4 million horses in the U.S. are potential candidates for Novobrace therapy. Release
