Adimmune Showcases New Ready-to-Use Tetanus Vaccine at CPHI Southeast Asia, Expanding Regional Market Opportunities

Adimmune Corporation (TWSE: 4142) showcased its newly launched ready-to-use tetanus vaccine at CPHI (Convention on Pharmaceutical Ingredients) Southeast Asia in Bangkok. The product attracted strong interest from Southeast Asia regional pharmaceutical companies.

Adimmune’s tetanus vaccine is Taiwan’s only domestically manufactured tetanus vaccine, and has been designated as a national strategic medical reserve. Manufactured at facilities compliant with PIC/S GMP standard, the company has an annual production capacity exceeding one million doses. Adimmune noted that local manufacturing capability enables Taiwan to maintain a stable domestic supply during natural disasters, major accidents, or other public health emergencies.

Earlier this year, Adimmune introduced a new ready-to-use presentation featuring a prefilled, single-dose design that eliminates the need for dose preparation before administration. The simplified workflow helps improve efficiency in emergency care while reducing the risk of needlestick injuries. Since launch, the product has been adopted by major medical centers and hospitals across Taiwan.

Building on its domestic success, Adimmune and its subsidiary Enimmune Corp. participated in CPHI Southeast Asia as the only Taiwanese vaccine manufacturer exhibiting at the event. The company’s influenza vaccine, tetanus vaccine, and EV71 vaccine attracted significant interest from pharmaceutical companies across the region, with several potential partners expressing interest in future collaborations.

Taiwan became the 43rd member of PIC/S in 2013, and all Adimmune vaccines are manufactured in accordance with PIC/S GMP standards. The company believes this provides a strong quality and regulatory foundation for expanding into Southeast Asian markets. Growing awareness of infectious disease preparedness across Asia following the COVID-19 pandemic has also increased regional interest in vaccines. Adimmune said it will continue strengthening international partnerships with the goal of integrating Taiwan-developed vaccines into the global public health supply chain.
