Orelabrutinib was selected into the "Top Ten Clinical Hot Words List" for Lymphoma in 2025
The "2025 Hematological Cancer Year-End Inventory and Clinical Hot Words Conference" jointly organized by the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO) Myeloma Expert Committee, CSCO Lymphoma Expert Committee, CSCO Leukemia Expert Committee and Dingxiangyuan was held recently. With the continuous accumulation of evidence-based evidence and expanding clinical application value in the field of multiple indications, the BTK inhibitor Orelabrutinib independently developed by InnoCare Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was successfully selected into the "Top Ten Clinical Hot Words List" for lymphoma in 2025. Orelabrutinib was selected into the annual "Top Ten Clinical Hot Words List" for lymphoma, which not only reflects the high attention paid to orelabrutinib from all walks of life, but also reflects the widespread recognition of its clinical value.
This event systematically reviewed the major breakthroughs and changes in the treatment landscape in the field of hematological tumors such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)/small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL), mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), and marginal zone lymphoma (MZL) in the past year, and released the "Top Ten Clinical Words List" for hematological tumors in 2025.
The conference pointed out that orelabrutinib is a BTK inhibitor that can irreversibly bind to the active site of BTK, block the BCR signaling pathway, and inhibit the proliferation, differentiation and survival of B cells. Orelabrutinib's selectivity for BTK is significantly higher than other tyrosine kinases, which can reduce off-target effects and improve treatment safety. Orelabrutinib is the first and only BTK inhibitor approved in China for the treatment of relapsed/refractory MZL. It is also an important treatment option for hematological tumors such as CLL/SLL and MCL.
What is particularly important is that the newly approved first-line CLL/SLL indication of orelabrutinib in 2025 has been included in the national medical insurance and included in the latest CSCO Lymphoma Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines Level I recommendation, which will benefit more lymphoma patients.
Orelabrutinib is a highly selective BTK inhibitor. The molecular structure design enables orelabrutinib to precisely covalently bind to the active site of BTK, thereby effectively inhibiting malignant B cell proliferation and inducing apoptosis, while minimizing off-target effects on other kinases such as ITK and EGFR. This lays a good safety foundation for orelabrutinib in patients with B-cell lymphoma who require long-term management. With the support of clear mechanism advantages and continuous accumulation of clinical efficacy data, the indication layout of orelabrutinib has been gradually improved, and its clinical status has been continuously established.
