Recently, a training class on governance and social development in Asian countries organized by the International Business Officials Training Institute of the Ministry of Commerce visited Zhejiang Shouxiangu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. to carry out exchange activities. The training class was led by Chen Runyun, deputy dean of the college, and key government students from the Maldives, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos and other Asian countries went into the company to inspect the development results of the traditional Chinese medicine industry and learn from Wuyi's practical experience in county governance, ecological enrichment and rural revitalization.

During the visit, the trainees visited and studied at Yanglang Biological Breeding Innovation Center and Huanglong Cultural Center. At the Yanglang Biological Breeding Innovation Center, the group had an in-depth understanding of the company's innovative practices in biological breeding, smart manufacturing, quality control, etc., as well as the breeding process of high-quality varieties of the Xianzhi series and Dendrobium series.

As a Chinese time-honored brand and a key national leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization, Zhejiang Shouxiangu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has built the world's leading Ganoderma germplasm resource bank, and its planting base has won five organic certifications from China, the European Union, Japan, the United States, and Canada. The independently developed Ganoderma spore powder dewalling and purification technology won the Gold Medal at the International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva. Many scientific research achievements have filled gaps in the domestic industry, and won the first prize for national scientific and technological progress.

Walking into Huanglong Cultural Center, a strong cultural atmosphere of traditional Chinese medicine hits your face. The exhibition hall systematically displays China's thousand-year health and wellness culture, as well as the intangible cultural heritage skills of traditional Chinese medicine processing passed down by Zhejiang Shouxiangu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for hundreds of years. The students stopped to read, deeply understood the company's concept of "keeping integrity and innovation", and truly felt the unique charm and contemporary value of traditional Chinese medicine culture.

In addition, thematic exchange and teaching sessions were successfully held at the Huanglong headquarters of Zhejiang Shouxiangu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. At the beginning of the event, Li Mingyan, Chairman of Zhejiang Shouxiangu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., delivered a welcome speech and expressed his warm welcome to the guests from all over the world. He briefly introduced the company's century-old development history, core technologies, industrial layout and internationalization achievements. Over the years, Zhejiang Shouxiangu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has been deeply involved in the development of the entire industrial chain of traditional Chinese medicinal materials. It has won more than 40 national, provincial and municipal science and technology awards, holds invention patents in seven countries, and has taken the lead in formulating a number of international standards for traditional Chinese medicine. This special lecture was delivered by Professor Zhang Yuexi. With the theme of "From a Poverty-stricken County in Mountainous Areas to the National Top 100: The Development Practice of Wuyi, Zhejiang", he systematically shared the transformation of Wuyi over the past thirty years based on the similar geographical characteristics and development pain points of Wuyi and mountainous areas in Southeast Asia.

This cross-border visit and exchange not only allowed students from various Asian countries to have an in-depth understanding of the achievements of modernization of the traditional Chinese medicine industry and the development experience of Wuyi County, but also established a friendly platform for mutual learning and friendship between China and foreign countries.
