On December 15, the conclusion meeting of the “Clinical Intervention Research Project of Dewalled Ganoderma Spore Powder Combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution Classification on Non-tumor Populations with Elevated Serum Tumor Markers” was held at the headquarters of Zhejiang Shouxiangu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

This project is based on the concept of preventing and treating pre-diseases with traditional Chinese medicine. It was jointly launched by Zhejiang Shouxiangu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Hospital in June 2022. The study targets non-tumor people with at least one elevated tumor marker CEA, CA125, CA153, and CA199, using Zhejiang Shouxiangu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Ltd. dewalled Ganoderma spore powder was used to intervene, and changes in tumor markers were observed before taking, 1 month after taking, 2 months after taking and 1 month after stopping taking.

Tumor markers are a type of substance synthesized and released by the tumor cells themselves, or produced or increased in response to the body's response to the tumor cells. It has certain value in the diagnosis, monitoring of curative effect and recurrence, and judgment of prognosis of tumors. Currently, there is no medical treatment for elevated tumor markers. Many scholars have proposed that if effective intervention can be carried out when tumor markers are elevated, the development of the disease can be blocked and it is an effective method to prevent tumors.

At the closing meeting, the researchers announced the research results. After 59 subjects with abnormal tumor markers took Zhejiang Shouxiangu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.'s dewalled Ganoderma spore powder, more than half (55%) had their tumor markers return to normal. The tumor markers CA125, CA199 and CEA changed from abnormal to normal after taking it for one month, and more than 50% of them changed from abnormal to normal.

By comparing the levels of serum tumor markers, the researchers found that after the intervention of Zhejiang Shouxiangu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.'s dewalled Ganoderma spore powder, the CA153, CA199, and CEA indicators decreased compared with before the intervention. Among them, the CA199 and CEA index values were significantly different before and after the intervention (P<0.05).

At the same time, the researchers conducted an analysis of the subjects' constitutions based on traditional Chinese medicine. After taking Zhejiang Shouxiangu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.'s dewalled Ganoderma spore powder, the number of people with mild constitution increased from 25 to 36, an increase of 44%, and the number of people with Qi deficiency constitution decreased significantly. (Peaceful constitution refers to the balance of yin and yang, good innate endowment, good immunity, and tumor markers are not easy to rise. People with Qi deficiency constitution have weak lung and spleen functions, weak immunity, and tumor markers are more likely to rise.)

According to the researchers, this study shows that oral administration of Zhejiang Shouxiangu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.'s dewalled Ganoderma spore powder can reduce serum tumor markers in non-tumor people, improve the body's immunity, improve the immune internal environment, regulate mood, and assist sleep. It can also improve the physical constitution of non-tumor people and achieve a peaceful constitution. During the two months of taking it, no abnormal changes were found in the subjects' blood routine, blood biochemistry, and urine routine tests, proving that taking Zhejiang Shouxiangu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.'s dewalled Ganoderma spore powder is safe and reliable.

This research project, carried out by Zhejiang Shouxiangu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Hospital, is a further exploration of Zhejiang Shouxiangu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.'s dewalled Ganoderma lucidum spore powder to improve abnormal tumor markers.
