October 23, 2020, Beijing, China - During the 2020 Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week, the 2020 third "Creation Technology" Disruptive Innovation List and Innovation Potential List were released in Beijing on the 21st. InnoCare Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.'s "Innovative Drugs for the Treatment of B-cell Malignant Tumors and Autoimmune Diseases" was included in the list of projects on the 2020 Disruptive Innovation Potential List.
InnoCare Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.'s "innovative drug for the treatment of B-cell malignancies and autoimmune diseases" is the company's independently developed BTK (Bruton's tyrosine kinase) inhibitor orelabrutinib. Clinical study results have shown good efficacy and safety. Orelabrutinib's BTK target occupancy rate is nearly 100%, with small inter-individual differences and no obvious inhibitory effect on other kinases. It ensures efficacy while effectively avoiding adverse reactions caused by off-target effects. In addition, orelabrutinib can be administered orally at 150 mg once a day, which brings convenience to patients for continuous treatment.
Orelabrutinib's two indication marketing applications for the treatment of patients with relapsed/refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)/small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) and patients with relapsed/refractory mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) were included in priority review by the Drug Evaluation Center of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) at the beginning of this year.
