Abstract
Provided is an imaging system which obtains a captured image with reduced noise. The imaging system includes a light source which emits infrared rays, an imaging device which images a target object irradiated with the infrared rays emitted from the light source, and a first polarizing filter which is provided between the light source and the target object and polarizes the infrared rays emitted from the light source. The imaging device includes, from an incidence side, a lens, a second polarizing filter which polarizes the infrared rays, and an image sensor.

What is claimed is:
Provided is an imaging system which obtains a captured image with reduced noise. The imaging system includes a light source which emits infrared rays, an imaging device which images a target object irradiated with the infrared rays emitted from the light source, and a first polarizing filter which is provided between the light source and the target object and polarizes the infrared rays emitted from the light source. The imaging device includes, from an incidence side, a lens, a second polarizing filter which polarizes the infrared rays, and an image sensor.
