/Uv Light Control System
Abstract

The present invention relates to a light control system and a method for illuminating a space. The light control system comprises a plurality of light sources each configured to emit light within an ultraviolet spectral range, each of the plurality of light sources being configured to illuminate a corresponding sub-portion of a space; a positioning system configured to determine positions (P) of one or more individuals within the space; a density system configured to, based on by the positioning system over time determined positions (P) of the one or more individuals, determine a density distribution of the one or more individuals in the space; and a control engine configured to control the plurality of light sources based on the density distribution such that a sub-portion of the space having a relatively high density is illuminated with light within the ultraviolet spectral range to a relatively higher degree than a sub-portion of the space having a relatively low density.
