Abstract

This application is applied to a wireless local area network system supporting a next-generation Wi-Fi protocol (for example, 802.11be, Wi-Fi 7, or EHT) of IEEE 802.11ax, a next-generation Wi-Fi protocol (for example, Wi-Fi 8, UHR, or 11bn) of IEEE 802.11be, Wi-Fi AI, a millimeter wave (mmWave), an ultra-wideband (UWB), or sensing (sensing). In this application, a first AP may send first TWT information. The first TWT information may indicate TWT set up between an AP in an OBSS and a non-AP STA associated with the AP. The first TWT information may carry first indication information, so that the first non-AP STA identifies the TWT set up between the AP in the OBSS and the non-AP STA associated with the AP, to assist the non-AP STA in performing communication based on a TWT mechanism.
