An intravascular device and methods of using the same are provided. An expandable portion includes struts movable between a collapsed position and an expanded position, and tissue modification element(s), each having a lower portion residing within or attached to one of the struts, an upper portion which extends outwardly from an outer surface of the strut and physically interacts with tissue during use. Irrigation and/or suction device(s) are provided for providing at least one of irrigation fluid and suction force at the expandable portion when operated.
