/Systems And Methods For Derivation Of Quantization Parameters For Frame Interpolation
Abstract

An example method of video coding includes receiving a video bitstream corresponding to a plurality of frames of video data, and generating, using a frame-level interpolation mode, a reconstructed frame that corresponds to a frame of the plurality of frames. The frame-level interpolation mode uses one or more reference frames to generate the reconstructed frame. The method also includes deriving a set of quantization parameters for the reconstructed frame, the set of quantization parameters derived from a set of reference quantization parameters from the one or more reference frames, and performing filtering on the reconstructed frame based on the set of quantization parameters.
