Abstract

Various embodiments disclosed herein provide communication techniques for transferring datasets in a mesh network. In various embodiments, a method includes receiving, by a first node in a mesh network from a server, a first notification that a dataset is available for download from at least a first neighbor to the first node; requesting, by the first node from the first neighbor, the dataset; receiving, by the first node from a server, a first request for a status of receipt of the dataset; transmitting, by the first node to the server, a second notification that the dataset has been received; and receiving, by the first node and after transmitting the second notification, a second request for the dataset from a second neighbor to the first node in the mesh network.

What is claimed is:

Various embodiments disclosed herein provide communication techniques for transferring datasets in a mesh network.
