The first duration is duration in which transmission of second data is expected to be completed, and the second data belongs to a second DRB. The first duration is used to determine delay information of a status report, and/or the first duration is used to trigger sending of the status report. The first entity is a packet data convergence protocol PDCP entity corresponding to the second DRB, or the first entity is a medium access control MAC entity that processes the second data.
