Abstract

An electronic device having a display area and a non-display area includes a substrate; a first transistor including a first semiconductor layer and disposed in the non-display area; a second transistor including a second semiconductor layer and a gate electrode and disposed in the display area, wherein a material of the first semiconductor layer is different from a material of the second semiconductor layer; a barrier layer overlapping the gate electrode of the second transistor; and an organic layer disposed on the first transistor and the second transistor, wherein the organic layer includes a first portion disposed in the non-display area and a second portion disposed in the display area. A minimum distance from the substrate to the first portion is a first distance, a minimum distance from the substrate to the second portion is a second distance, and the first distance is different from the second distance.

What is claimed is:

An electronic device having a display area and a non-display area includes a substrate; a first transistor including a first semiconductor layer and disposed in the non-display area; a second transistor including a second semiconductor layer and a gate electrode and disposed in the display area, wherein a material of the first semiconductor layer is different from a material of the second semiconductor layer; a barrier layer overlapping the gate electrode of the second transistor; and an organic layer disposed on the first transistor and the second transistor, wherein the organic layer includes a first portion disposed in the non-display area and a second portion disposed in the display area. A minimum distance from the substrate to the first portion is a first distance, a minimum distance from the substrate to the second portion is a second distance, and the first distance is different from the second distance.
