Abstract

This application relates to an information exchange method in a UWB system, and an apparatus. The method includes: sending/receiving sensing control information, and determining a channel based on the sensing control information, where the channel satisfies a predefined condition. This application can be used to complete a sensing solution, for example, sensing measurement based on frequency stitching, and improve sensing performance. This application is applied to a UWB-based WPAN system, a sensing system, or the like, including 802.15 series protocols, for example, 802.15.4ab or a next-generation standard; and may further be applied to a WLAN system with a next-generation protocol (for example, 802.11be, Wi-Fi 7, or EHT) of 802.11ax, a next-generation protocol (for example, Wi-Fi 8, UHR, or 11bn) of 802.11be, Wi-Fi AI, a millimeter wave, or the like.
