/Tracheal Cannula And Use Of A Cannula Shield
Abstract

A tracheal cannula is proposed, including a cannula tube and a cannula shield, wherein the cannula tube includes a tracheal end portion and a distal end portion. The distal end portion is formed in such a way that it has a superior face and an inferior face, arranged lying opposite thereto. The cannula shield has a cannula tube cutout, into which the distal end portion of the cannula tube is able to be arranged. The cannula shield has a rectilinear first portion, delimiting the cannula tube cutout, which first portion is assigned to the superior face of the distal end portion, and a rectilinear second portion, delimiting the cannula tube cutout, which second portion is assigned to the inferior face of the distal end portion. The cannula shield is arranged in a tiltable manner about a medial-lateral axis by a pivot bearing at the distal end portion.
