Abstract

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for identifying vehicle asset pairings. For example, a method for identifying a vehicle asset pairing may comprise operating at least one processor to: receive telematics data associated with a plurality of vehicle assets; and receive a selected telematics report associated with a selected vehicle asset at a first frequency; receive candidate telematics reports associated with a plurality of candidate vehicle assets at a second frequency different than the first frequency; and responsive to receipt of the selected telematics report, perform one or more pairing-identification operations using geospatial data from the selected telematics report and geospatial data from the candidate telematics reports to identify a paired vehicle asset for the selected vehicle asset.

For example, a method for identifying a vehicle asset pairing may comprise operating at least one processor to: receive telematics data associated with a plurality of vehicle assets; and receive a selected telematics report associated with a selected vehicle asset at a first frequency; receive candidate telematics reports associated with a plurality of candidate vehicle assets at a second frequency different than the first frequency; and responsive to receipt of the selected telematics report, perform one or more pairing-identification operations using geospatial data from the selected telematics report and geospatial data from the candidate telematics reports to identify a paired vehicle asset for the selected vehicle asset.
