Abstract

In a multimedia resource presentation method, text content of to-be-read text is displayed. A reading-progress indicator configured to indicate a reading progress of the text content is displayed. Whether the reading progress indicated by the reading-progress indicator changes within a preset duration is determined. Resource recommendation information is displayed based on the text content and the reading progress indicated by the reading-progress indicator not changing within the preset duration. The resource recommendation information is configured to indicate a multimedia resource associated with the displayed text content. Resource presentation operation to view the resource recommendation information is received. The multimedia resource indicated by the resource recommendation information is presented based on the resource presentation operation.

What is claimed is:

In a multimedia resource presentation method, text content of to-be-read text is displayed. A reading-progress indicator configured to indicate a reading progress of the text content is displayed. Whether the reading progress indicated by the reading-progress indicator changes within a preset duration is determined. Resource recommendation information is displayed based on the text content and the reading progress indicated by the reading-progress indicator not changing within the preset duration. The resource recommendation information is configured to indicate a multimedia resource associated with the displayed text content. Resource presentation operation to view the resource recommendation information is received. The multimedia resource indicated by the resource recommendation information is presented based on the resource presentation operation.
