The support program includes: determining a compression condition based on at least one of a print setting corresponding to a print instruction and a capability of the printer; instructing the general-purpose printing program to perform compression under the compression condition; acquiring intermediate data representing an image to be printed according to the print instruction, in which the intermediate data subjected to a compression process by the general-purpose printing program under the compression condition instructed in the instruction process is acquired; and causing the printer to perform printing based on print data generated from the intermediate data.
