Abstract

A communication method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: obtaining a plurality of SSBs, where indexes of any two of the plurality of SSBs are different; determining a plurality of search spaces of system information blocks based on the plurality of SSBs, where one of the plurality of search spaces is determined based on one of the plurality of SSBs; and receiving a plurality of system information blocks based on the plurality of search spaces, and combining and demodulating the plurality of system information blocks. According to the foregoing method, one system information block is received based on each of the plurality of search spaces, to obtain the plurality of system information blocks, and the plurality of system information blocks are combined and demodulated, so that a demodulation success rate of the system information blocks can be increased.

What is claimed is:

A communication method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: obtaining a plurality of SSBs, where indexes of any two of the plurality of SSBs are different; determining a plurality of search spaces of system information blocks based on the plurality of SSBs, where one of the plurality of search spaces is determined based on one of the plurality of SSBs; and receiving a plurality of system information blocks based on the plurality of search spaces, and combining and demodulating the plurality of system information blocks.
