An apparatus and method for meta-model optimization. The apparatus includes at least a processor and a memory communicatively connected to the at least a processor. The memory instructs the processor to receive a plurality of entity profiles and a plurality of engagement profiles, classify the plurality of entity profiles and the plurality of engagement profiles to a plurality of descriptors using a descriptor manager, generate an entity model for each entity profile, generate an engagement model for each engagement profile, determine a compatibility profile for at least one complementary cluster pair comprising the entity model and the engagement model, update the descriptor manager using data derived from user feedback, and optimize an engagement portfolio by reallocating the entity model among a plurality of engagement models based on the compatibility profile, wherein the engagement portfolio comprises a plurality of engagement models corresponding to engagements managed by a user.
