A printing apparatus which receives, from a client terminal, a print job in a format in accordance with IPP and which performs printing based on the received print job, the printing apparatus having: a communication unit configured to communicate with the client terminal; a control unit configured to cause a display unit to display a first guide screen presenting one or more possible combinations of feed directions and rotation angles of an image for the printing, where the one or more possible combinations can be established under a sheet size of a sheet set in a feeding mechanism; and a generation unit configured to generate first information indicating a determined combination among the one or more possible combinations which are presented in the first guide screen, wherein the communication unit transmits, in response to a request from the client terminal, the first information generated by the generation unit.
