A multi-foldable electronic device includes first, second, and third housings with sensors; first and second hinge members; and a flexible display with first, second, and third areas. A processor and memory store instructions to detect a first angle between the first and second housings and a second angle between the second and third housings. The instructions compare the angles to predefined ranges, determine a visibility ranking among the display areas based on the angles and gravity, and activate areas accordingly. The device migrates a user interface among areas when the visibility ranking changes. When the first and second housings are unfolded and the second angle is about 80 to 100 degrees, the device duplicates a user interface from the third area to a fourth area on an opposite surface of the third housing.
