A vehicle door lock includes a first rocker arm, a sliding member, a connecting arm and a cooperating rocker arm; the first rocker arm and the connecting arm are connected via the sliding member; the first rocker arm includes a first driving slot and a first clearance slot; the sliding member is provided with a connecting post; the cooperating rocker arm has a locked state and an unlocked state. When the connecting post is inserted through the connecting arm and the first driving slot, the first rocker arm is configured to drive the connecting arm to rotate via the connecting post, and the cooperating rocker arm is switched from the locked state to the unlocked state. When the connecting post passes through the connecting arm and the first clearance slot, the cooperating rocker arm is configured to be kept in the locked state when the first rocker arm moves.
