A multi-component mounting assembly mounts work implements to agricultural equipment frames. The mounting assembly comprises a multi-component tower configured to retain the work implement and be mounted to the frame. The tower comprises a first and second tower sidewall. A conjoining arrangement is disposed between the first and second tower sidewalls. The conjoining arrangement interfaces with the first and second tower sidewalls to create an interlocking tower assembly. In certain examples, a strap comprises a first and second strap sidewall and a conjoining member that interfaces with the first and second strap sidewalls to create an interlocking strap assembly. The strap is configured to be secured to the tower around the frame to secure the tower to the frame.
