Abstract
A method of detecting a leak-induced abnormal condition in a fluid line system comprising a heater may include monitoring a temperature characteristic of the fluid line system and an electrical characteristic of the heater, and determining the leak-induced abnormal condition is present within the fluid line system in response to the temperature characteristic indicating a temperature of the heater is greater than a threshold temperature and a value of the electrical characteristic of the heater is less than a threshold value.
