/Methods For Evaluating Performance Of Hot Start Nucleic Acid Polymerase
Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for evaluating the performance of a hot start nucleic acid polymerase, a method for obtaining a quality control-capable (QC-able) hot start nucleic acid polymerase, and a method for providing a blended hot start nucleic acid polymerase that mimics the performance of a target hot-start nucleic acid polymerase. According to the present invention, by using an activity profile of a hot start nucleic acid polymerase for heat activation time, it is possible to evaluate the performance of the hot start nucleic acid polymerase, to provide a QC-able hot start nucleic acid polymerase, and to provide a blended nucleic acid polymerase that mimics the performance of a target hot start nucleic acid polymerase.
