Abstract
A gas barrier film includes a substrate containing polyethylene; and a barrier layer formed on one surface of the substrate, the barrier layer including at least one of an inorganic layer and a gas barrier coat. In an X-ray diffraction pattern measured by a parallel beam method of X-ray diffraction for the substrate, a degree of crystallinity, which is a ratio of a crystalline peak area to a total peak area in a diffraction angle range of 10° to 30°, is 35.0% or less, and a ratio of a crystalline peak area of the (200) plane of polyethylene to a total peak area is 2.0% or greater.

What is claimed is:
A gas barrier film includes a substrate containing polyethylene; and a barrier layer formed on one surface of the substrate, the barrier layer including at least one of an inorganic layer and a gas barrier coat. In an X-ray diffraction pattern measured by a parallel beam method of X-ray diffraction for the substrate, a degree of crystallinity, which is a ratio of a crystalline peak area to a total peak area in a diffraction angle range of 10° to 30°, is 35.0% or less, and a ratio of a crystalline peak area of the (200) plane of polyethylene to a total peak area is 2.0% or greater.
