Embodiments of this application provide a network management method and apparatus, and relate to the field of communication technologies. The network management method is applied to a first node performing information prediction in a communication network, and includes: obtaining reference data and current measurement information that match a network management scenario, where the reference data indicates prediction quality of at least one prediction model that matches the scenario; processing the current measurement information by using each prediction model in the at least one prediction model, to obtain current prediction information corresponding to the prediction model; and sending the current prediction information corresponding to each prediction model and a quality indicator of the current prediction information to a second node in the communication network. In this way, the second node performs a network management operation for the scenario based on current prediction information whose quality indicator satisfies a quality condition and that is in the current prediction information corresponding to each prediction model. In embodiments of this application, quality evaluation may be performed on prediction information, to improve network performance and user experience.
