Embodiments of the disclosure provide a solution for video processing. A method for video processing is proposed. The method includes: determining, for a conversion between a current block of a video and a bitstream of the video, that an input of a cross-component prediction (CCP) model comprises at least one of: a sample within a reference area, or a sample within the current block; and performing the conversion based on the CCP model.
