/Method For Manufacturing A Spectacle Lens Comprising A Structured Coating And Spectacle Lens
Abstract

A method for manufacturing a spectacle lens includes the step of curing a structured coating material on a surface of a spectacle lens. The structured coating material turns into a structured coating on the surface of the spectacle lens, which provides a reduced light reflection to the spectacle lens. The structured coating material is a coating material, which turns into a coating providing an enhanced hydrophobicity to the spectacle lens, irrespective of the structure of the structured coating. Further, the method results in a coating providing an enhanced abrasion resistance to the spectacle lens, irrespective of the structure of the structured coating.
