Abstract
A sorbent composition comprising primarily activated carbon with an apparent density of at least about 0.30 g/cc, wherein the sorbent composition comprises small mesopores, wherein the small mesopores have a pore size ranging from about 20 Å to about 150 Å, wherein a volume of small mesopores is at least about 0.10 cc/g, wherein the sorbent composition comprises micropores, wherein the micropores have a pore size of less than about 20 Å, wherein a volume of micropores is at least about 0.35 cc/g, and wherein the sorbent comprises from about 10 vol. % to about 35 vol. % solid activated carbon.

What is claimed is:
