An augmented reality electronic device includes a display device, a light adjusting component, and a waveguide including a light entrance part and a light exit part. The light adjusting component includes a panel, a first phase retardation plate, and a second phase retardation plate, wherein the first phase retardation plate is disposed on a first side of the panel, and the second phase retardation plate is disposed on a second side of the panel. A light generated by the display device enters the waveguide at the light entrance part and is emitted from the waveguide at the light exit part, and the light adjusting component is disposed corresponding to the light exit part. The waveguide is disposed adjacent to the first side of the panel. The first side has a first reflectivity, the second side has a second reflectivity, and the first reflectivity is greater than the second reflectivity.
