The anisotropic layer contains a dichroic substance having a molecular weight of 1,000 or less. The adhesive layer has an indentation modulus of 0.4 MPa to 6.0 MPa and is configured to limit low-molecular-weight components. The adhesive layer either excludes such components or contains 1.0% by mass or less of low-molecular-weight components having Hansen solubility parameters within a predetermined range. A display device including the laminate is also provided, achieving improved fissure resistance, adhesiveness, and durability.
