A cooking apparatus includes a housing including a cooking chamber; a door to open or close the cooking chamber and including a key door; a driver motor disposed in the housing; and a door latch to lock or unlock the door. The door latch includes a rotating body which can be rotated by power transmitted from the driver motor, a lever shaft, a lever configured to be rotated about the lever rotation axis by power transmitted from the rotating body, the lever configured to restrain the key door to lock the door or release the key door to unlock the door according to the position of the lever, and an elastic member which is to elastically press the lever and rotates the lever in a direction in which the lever locks or unlocks the door by engaging with the key door according to the position of the lever.
