Abstract

A multilayer ceramic capacitor includes a multilayer body, a first outer electrode, a second outer electrode, and a first via conductor and a second via conductor that pass through a multilayer body in a stacking direction of a plurality of dielectric layers. In the first outer electrode, portions covering a first upper protruding end and a first lower protruding end of the first via conductor define a first upper protruding portion and a first lower protruding portion protruding more than other portions. In the second outer electrode, portions covering a second upper protruding end and a second lower protruding end of the second via conductor define a second upper protruding portion and a second lower protruding portion protruding more than other portions.

What is claimed is:

A multilayer ceramic capacitor includes a multilayer body, a first outer electrode, a second outer electrode, and a first via conductor and a second via conductor that pass through a multilayer body in a stacking direction of a plurality of dielectric layers. In the first outer electrode, portions covering a first upper protruding end and a first lower protruding end of the first via conductor define a first upper protruding portion and a first lower protruding portion protruding more than other portions. In the second outer electrode, portions covering a second upper protruding end and a second lower protruding end of the second via conductor define a second upper protruding portion and a second lower protruding portion protruding more than other portions.
