Abstract
A blood purification apparatus reduces the amount of priming solution to be administered to a patient together with an anticoagulant before a blood purification treatment. A blood purification apparatus includes a control unit conf igured to control a blood pump and an infusion pump. The control unit is configured to activate the infusion pump by supplying a driving signal to the infusion pump in a state where a blood circuit is filled with a priming solution, causing the blood pump to undergo a first operation by supplying a first driving signal to the blood pump in a state where an anticoagulant is infused into the blood circuit by the activation of the infusion pump.

What is claimed is:
A blood purification apparatus reduces the amount of priming solution to be administered to a patient together with an anticoagulant before a blood purification treatment. A blood purification apparatus includes a control unit conf igured to control a blood pump and an infusion pump. The control unit is configured to activate the infusion pump by supplying a driving signal to the infusion pump in a state where a blood circuit is filled with a priming solution, causing the blood pump to undergo a first operation by supplying a first driving signal to the blood pump in a state where an anticoagulant is infused into the blood circuit by the activation of the infusion pump.
