/Swing Guide Device
Abstract

A swing guide device that is used to help guide and teach proper swinging form for many sports such as baseball and softball. Swing guide is a pole or rigid oblong member that is reversibly rigidly attachable to a baseball helmet or a softball helmet in a very specific orientation relative to the helmet so that the pole or rigid oblong member guides a bat during a bat swing and causes the bat to swing in the “swing plane”. The swing plane is coincident with the trajectory of a baseball passing over home plate. Swing guide device functions as a guide to literally keep the bat on track and in the proper swing plane in order to teach proper swinging technique and instill this into the muscle memory of the batter and making it second nature for the batter.
