/Pilot Storage Systems For Aircraft Cabins
Abstract

A pilot storage system for use in an aircraft cabin. The pilot storage system includes a central cabinet defining an interior storage compartment, a first lateral opening and an upper opening. A first side cabinet is positioned adjacent to the first lateral opening of the central cabinet. The first side cabinet defines a first storage compartment having a first inboard opening aligned with the first lateral opening such that the first storage compartment and the interior storage compartment collectively define a unified storage compartment. A lid is coupled to the central cabinet and is movable between a closed position and an open position to selectively provide access to the unified storage compartment through the upper opening from above the central cabinet.
