In the pixel circuit, a driving transistor's first electrode, gate and second electrode respectively connected to first, second and third nodes. A power supply voltage writing module is connected to a power supply signal line and first node. A threshold compensation module is connected to the first and second nodes. A data writing module is connected to a data signal line and the third node. An auxiliary threshold compensation module is coupled to a first signal line and third node. The threshold compensation module is turned on in a threshold compensation phase and a subsequent data writing phase. The data writing module is turned on in the data writing phase. The auxiliary threshold compensation module transmits a first voltage on the first signal line to the third node during or before the threshold compensation phase.
