The invention pertains to a synthetic mixture of human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) wherein the mixture comprises 10-30 wt % acidic HMOs and 70-90 wt % neutral HMOs, wherein the neutral HMOs comprises 75-95 wt % of fucosylated HMOs based on weight of the neutral HMOs and wherein the mixture comprises at least 19 HMOs.
